Sunday Rider, Mike688 and myself are talking about having a group meeting for Piloteers in Toronto.

Anybody interested in the meeting, please feel free to contact us for your suggestion (where, when, etc).

Thanks!
I am very interested. I am in the process of selling my pilot and am not sure when I will have my new one. Part of me says the sooner the better because the busyness of Christmas is coming. However, I am going to want to show off my new '06 when I finally trade/sell my '03. Don't let me hold it off due to my situation. A few week's notice would be appreicated

It will be great if you can join us, then we will have Sunday Rider's black 03 EXL, Mike688's siler 04 EXL, my silver 05 EXL, and your green 06 EXL. A perfect lineup from 03-06. :2:

It will be interesting to take the photos to compare the head lights difference between OEM, Eurodezign and PIAA, and your new 06 head lights, etc.
Any thoughts on possible dates?

Thinking of end of Nov to begining of Dec. My schedule will be very flexible. But I would love to hear everybody's feedback.

I am also thinking of getting it sponsored by some Honda dealer. Will talk to the dealer I bough my Pilot from.
Okay I maybe getting this wrong but what does a "meet" actually entail? I was thinking getting together to go over each others vehicles grabbing a meal and then looking some more. If it's sponsored by a dealer, does that mean they pay for our all you can eat Chinese Food buffet:12: :7: :7:

What you have described for "getting together to go over each others vehicles grabbing a meal and then looking some more" is exactly what am imagining the meet. I was inspired by the meet from the Alberta Piloteers when they got sponsored by some dealers with some free gifts. For us, :7: :7: will be paid by ourselves.;)
I'm liking!!! I think we should contact 3 dealers with a list of 3 gifts from each. Nine of us show up and we all end up with a door prize. Of course you'd make each dealer think that they were the only ones sponsoring:claphead: :claphead:

Dec. 3/4 or 9/10 okay for me.

Any one else out there coming to the meet?

Borg, this will give you some time to drive down.:D
3/4, 9/10 work well for me too. Hopefully I have my new wheels by then. Dropped by Classic Honda today (Sunday) thank's to Splizzak (Sam) recommendation. Saw an EXL in green with front bumper bars. I'm thinking of making an offer on that one tomorrow. Whatever date of the above is great for me!!! Being from Georgetown now.... I'll bring my pick-up truck with gun rack mounted on the back with my dog in the back and paritally consumed beer case on the front seat!!! I'll need the lead time also to get to Toronto in time for the meet!

I guess we should think of a place to meet as well.
It doesn't matter to me, anywhere in the GTA is fine.
Anyone have a place in mind (no Chucky Cheese please).
I'm a Mississauga/Georgetown boy so I don't know Toronto like the back of my hand. I was thinking that due to the weather in December being colder and a little more unpredictable, it would be good to have it in an area that we could compare/look at each other's Pilots in a semi-covered area that they could all be parked close for a group shot. You know, we've got to put Toronto on the Hondapilot.org map with many pictures of our huge, successful event:6: :6: :awais:. Any ideas based on that?

Yeah, as the birth place of Pilot, we should have got a big event already! :4:
Yah being CHRISTmas and all, it should be the star (or PIAs) in the east that lead the wise men (okay women Piloteer's too if any in the GTA) to the birth place of the Pilot. Are there any stables where we could meet?? Okay, enough of the sacrelidge!!!:soapbox: I better stop before I get the:werd: label of the group! or this guy's:ucrazy: .

OK, I forgot you mentioned Sunday! Lets see Dec 4, Sunday, 12:00 noon. Trying to decide a good location with

1. shopping mall with lots of free parking, so we can line up our Pilots and take shots.

2. to handle bad weather, the parking lot can have covered area, and also good for taking pictures for Pilots with head lights on. :2:

3. also close to good restaurant so we can sit down, chat and have fun! :7:

I am considering Yorkdale Shopping Mall, since it has lots of free parking spots, especially in the N/W corner. But the covered parking is not in the same corner, and the restaurants Pickel Barrel and Milestones are not the same corner either.

Any other suggestions?

Sounds good to me. Central and yet close to the 401. Anyone want to carpool?:2: :2: :2:

PTL!!! A buyer came into the dealer today where I was trying to negotiate a deal through HP.org member Splizzak's cousin. Classic Honda in Brampton beat my long time dealer's price by good $$$. I'll have my Green '06 EXL in time for the meet!!!

Okay, just so I understand.
We have 2 possible meets.
One on Sunday Dec.4, and another on a Tues or Thurs. to see the Honda Plant.

Every one else see it that way?
Which Tues or Thurs Tim?

Is there a way to find out who the Toronto area members are to invite them by email to the meet? Some may miss it if they haven't been onto the site for a few weeks.

So the weekend has come and gone where I believe someone was going to go and check out a place or two to meet. Do we finally have a place picked to eat/hang? I've emailed Admin to see if there's a way to find out all of the members in the GTA to see if any others are interested in coming out to the meet.

From what I recall it's this coming Sunday Dec. 4 in Toronto and......?

According to many others at Hondapilot.org a full sized spare will fit in the space that holds the original spacesaver spare tire. You'll have the original spare left over and no-one seems to want them.
What?.... What?.... Did someone say they had some donuts they didn't want?

The calendars just arrived today, good timing! He told me he was thinking of giving us some free swiss army knives:eek: , but they were all gone when I asked for the sponsorship from them last time.
Good thing we didn't get the swiss army knives. Who know's we could have been taken for a weird sect of terrorists driving pilots and all carrying swiss army knives. :behead:
