I actually don't mind the grille we have now. But I like the chrome trim around it on your first pic. Very nice.

I kinda wish Honda had used this kind of grill. What do you think?
Is this a grill that is availble or just a computer generated picture? I have been trying to find one like this for several months and had finally given up.

Compare with standard grill picture
I much prefer the standard grille.....but it's just one humble opinion.

Sorry I didn't mention that I used photoshop to make the grill. The grill does not exist, but I wish it did. I cut the grill out of a picture of the Lexus LS430 (the front of which looks rather uncannily similar to that of the pilot) and cut and pasted a honda emblem, adjusted the color a bit and pasted the whole thing on a pic of a Pilot from Honda's website.

I appologize if I falsley raised the hopes of some of you. I was just experimenting what it might look like with a different grill.

You did an awesome job on that! Hey Kemo we found our Photoshop guy! Now if only I knew a little bit more about Photoshop. Got any pointers supergeek74? I am looking for a video or something that will teach me Photoshop. Thanks for the great work and the info.

Haha....:D Thanks for noticing the avatar change. Oh and just for the record I don't do Dunkin Donuts or any donut shops for that matter. I rather just drink coffee all night long to keep me up. BTW, how the hell can I write another Sandstone a citation. I think my own Sandstone might get me for that.

I have an ebook, IDG's Photoshop 6 Bible, in PDF format which I can put up somewhere from which you can download. When I browsed through it it looked like a good book as far as tutorial books went and a friend of mine's a graphics artist and says its her favorite PS book. Of course, it's a bit dated now, since PS 7.0 is out, but I'm sure you can still make good use of it.

Just lemme know. There are video tutorials out there, but those CBTS (computer based training system) are usually multi CD monsters.

Definately...I have 7.0 but as long as I can learn the basics then I can move on to the things that supergeek74 is doing at a later date. Just let me know where I can download from. Thanks again.

Personally I like the grill that is on the car right now. The Lexus grill looks to fancy for my taste.

Great Photoshop job. But I prefer the original grille. Why don't you stick a CR-V grille on there and see how it looks? :p

Somebody say CRV grill?

Disclaimer:

Warning this is not an actual grill offered by Honda. This is a Photoshop creation.

I think the CR-V grill looks pretty nice on the Pilot. What do you think Tracy?

Oh and thank you for the nice comments on my amateur skills in Photoshop. I am just a hack, no formal training and every book I have attempted to read on it put me to sleep faster than a physics lecture.

I'm not Tracy, but I think it looks pretty darn sharp!:D I think the Pilot's grill holds its own, but I just wish there was some chrome or stainless steel to it.

LOL, well, wish I had half your "amateur" skills. Since this is a "grill" thread, I've always wondered how it'd look with a real BBQ grill in the front :2:
