Gallery of Installed Pilot Accessories

Which accessory should be at the top of the list?

We just purchased a Redrock Pearl EX-L and I'm looking at all the accessories avail. My wife could care less but I've caught the bug. What accessories are must haves'? What I would like to garner is things such as the fog lights for example. It seems like you can get them with the full bumper or half bumper trim. Which is better or more appealing? How about the cargo accessories. What is the most practical? Thanks and also, if you can supply pictures of them in use especially the cargo ones it would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Illegal
Tinting the front side windows and the windshield (except for a narrow band at the top of the windshield). Windows behind the driver's head may be tinted. If rear window is tinted, right-side mirror is required (26708 VC).

I wonder if the grille insert would look as good with just the original grille. I saw that Pilot grille replacement for only $120 but now I regret I passed on that deal. By the way how do you attach the grille inserts, with zip ties or is it screwed on? I'm itching to do some external mods on the Pilot just to update its look a bit. Thanks for the info.

Hello markraphael
Did you go to www.grilletech.com
the insert for the stock 06 grille is only 129.99 at grilletech
note; see the next two posts below for pictures of it.

Go to the web site, at www.grilletech.com home page and search under the make, model and year, they do have more selections of grille inserts available plus pictures of the inserts on the cars

Yes unfortunately it only came with plastic ties, But if you strategically place them around and tie onto the grille insert back inside cross braces, it’s readily strong and secured. At first I was going to use some bolts or something else. but if you think about it and realize the shapes and angle of grille and insert, the the plastic ties makes the best cents to use without making a project out of it
Note; With the back cross braces being black and the plastic ties being black they blend in well. you can’t real see them from the front

Enjoy your Pilot :roadtrip:
