I've not tried it for the Pilot yet but I could never get the site to accept my VIN for the S2000!:( It took the VIN for my wife's Accord. I'll go try it now. Again.

Not the right car...

Well, I thought I'd go check out the Honda OwnerLink page. Entered my VIN and, voila, they find my EX-L Pilot RedRock Pearl.

Not.

I have an EX-L Starlight Silver and have the sticker with VIN to prove it. I can't find any way to change the identification, no e-mail address, etc., and it's just a wee bit irritating to see that RedRock Pearl picture on the My Pilot home page. Makes me wonder if they really have a handle on exactly which vehicle we're talking about...for recall info, etc.

Does anyone know if one of the digits in the VIN is supposed to identify the color -- just out of curiosity?

Diane (who does like RedRock by the way...

Bummer, it worked right away for me - honest :8:. You might try Honda Customer Support:

Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Standard time at the toll-free phone number (800) 999-1009

One thought, any chance of a letter "O" / number "0" swap?

I use it

I use it from my SI, my wifes accord, my Moms accord and my friends RSX. I like it, yeah it is not perfect but I am happy with it. Now as for the problem showing the wrong color I have no clue either but I agree that maybe a call to customer care might work.

Toll Free Help

OK. Toll Free Number Guy checked his system, and sure enough, my Pilot is silver. That's a relief.

Apparently, he says, something got mixed up in the transfer of the database to Owner Link. He promised to report the foulup to Owner Link and assumes the Owner Link folks will correct the problem. He figures one day I'll log into Owner Link and the silver picture will pop up instead of the redrock.

Let's see how long this takes, now.

I have the same problem

I also have a Starlight Silver Pilot and it shows it as red on their owner's site. Must have a tag left out for silver.:4:

Mine, too, came out Redrock:( At first, I thought my dealer paint my Pilot over with silver:9: just to sell me the color I want, until I read more postings here
Hmmm....maybe in a few months I can get my dealer to paint my white one over with SageBrush.....

I also had my Silver turn up as Redrock. They said they are working on it. I am still waiting for them to automatically update the service records from their database rather than me doing it manually.

Mine shows up as Starlight Silver...which it is. Have they fixed this or what? I've had my account on there for about a month and I didn't notice them reporting it as anything except SS. Maybe I just wasn't paying too much attention, as PrG mentioned, I spent most of my time trying to figure out the benefits of the site, and since I couldn't find any, I haven't been back much.

Another SS masquerading as RR

I can report that they haven't fixed it yet. My Starlight Silver is showing as Redrock Pearl on OwnerLink, too. It's a small thing, but it sure does make me wonder about the quality of their other data. If I had wanted the RR, there was one on the lot when I signed the contract for the SS.

Thanks, but...

The nice folks at Owner Link apparently fixed their database, and my Pilot finally shows up as Starlight Silver on the Owner Link site. I presume they've corrected everyone else's, too.

It would have been nice if they could have corrected the problem without clobbering the VIN, which I had to re-enter. I wonder if it's only us SS folks who need to re-enter VINs, or whether all Pilot owners were affected?

I had to re-enter the VIN and the Silver is darker but man does it look good!
