I don't know if this is a problem per se, but when I was treating my leather over the weekend, I noticed lots of little "hairs" coming out the perforations in the leather. Has anyone else seen this? Any idea what is coming out through the holes?

P.S. Sorry about the lousy color balance in the photo. The interior is really grey.

I should have done a seach before starting this thread. I guess this is a known occurrence with the perforated leather in the Pilot and the MDX. (Discussed in this thread on leather vs. cloth.) I didn't see an outcome as to whether Honda did anything in the past.

Thanks. I guess I'll just ignore it.

I was cleaning and treating my leather seats this weekend and noticed the hairs. Before I started the process they were white as pictured in your digital image. However, after I finished they had darkened to almost black.

I cleaned with Lexol cleaner and followed with Lexol conditioner. Anyone noticed something similar. The darker hairs are much less noticeable against the gray leather.
