Turn your ignition key to "On," (II) but not start, and listen for the fuel pump making a little sound in the rear.

That said, fuel pumps rarely go bad on Pilots. Describe in detail what your problem is.

If you can hear it run for a couple of seconds when you tunr the key on I would check for voltage at the pump next. I don't know what year model you have but on my 04 the pump is under the second row seat on the drivers side. Under the carpet there is a cover. Remove the cover and you can get to the connector.

Fuse still good.
Did you visually inspect the fuse? Or did you measure with a meter? If visually inspected you might not see a hairline crack which an ohm meter would detect.

What exactly happens when you turn the key? Better yet, is it generating any trouble codes? If you don't have a code scanner for your OBD port, some car part chains will scan for free (assuming you can get there). Otherwise, maybe a friend has a code scanner?

Have a friend crawl under the gas tank with a rubber mallet. Have him bang the tank when you try to start the car. If the car starts, this means that the fuel pump is 90 percent shot. You got another start out of it, but it might be the last one.

How to tell if the fuel pump is froze or has went out.
Best way is to take it to a trusted mechanic and have them test the fuel pump. Just because it makes noise does not mean that it is working. One of the tests they will perform is a pressure test. The fuel pump could be putting out too little pressure for the fuel to reach the engine. Good luck with the situation.
