2005 Pilot EX, Daughter dinged the door and starting to rust. I found a door at used car lot for 2004 Pilot
1) Apprears that door for 2004 and 2005 identical so can be interchangeable, anyone know for sure or where to check
2) I cannot find any videos on how to remove entire door ?

Any help highly appreciated

03-08 all fit each other.

This video is similar to what you will have to do.

Hood, as in another thread, no, but doors, yes, lucky dad.

Did your luck extend so far as to get a color match? Either way, pics would be interesting.

May have to do the same job on my daughter's 2007, for the same reasons. :(

You might have electrical issues if the features don't match, like heated mirrors. EX-L in 04 only had heated mirrors, so you might need to gut the interior of each to make the features work correctly. Not sure how the wire harness match up in that case. If it is just plug and play, or what you might encounter.

Thanks all, found a black door but fade will be different. I am 450 000km so will be ok despite my OCD to keep it mint looking. Hope the internal mechanism etc are all good on the replacement door!!!!. Will post before and after pics. Have to drive 150km to junk yard to pickup door so won't be for a few weeks

Yep, they fit. Been down this road before. Three of 4 doors replaced. Shameless plug for the video where I attack the doors. Pull the interior panel, 5 bolts and the wire harness.

I dont need to remove interior panel to access any bolts to replace full door?. I am hoping the door i pickup will have all in-tact. Nice Job on the car and mine has almost equivalent miles
If yours comes with the harness installed, and not cut, then you do not need to go inside. If your new harness is cut, then you will need to use your harness. It's not bad, really.

This a back door harness. If you open the front door, it goes in towards the back of the door. If you pull out the black plastic piece, you can see where the harness is connected to the body. Some yards will just cut the harness, some that care will go through the trouble of disconnecting it properly. Hope this helps.

Where in the Great White North are you located? And where is your helpful salvage yard located?

If it's within driving distance from Montreal and you spot any fender flairs flares there, let me know :)

This was ice storm 3 weeks back and pilot battled it no issues, air bag light now seems to come on and off and think it's the seat belt latch, honda won't sell me the seat belt latch!!!!they claim it's safety and hence only they would install
I understand their liability concern, but maybe googling around will yield some results, as long as you can confirm the part's authenticity and you're 100% confident in your ability to install it correctly.

If your local Kenny is all haywire, search here, for starters: Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

If the seatbelt latch isn't working, it could just be dirty. You can pop off the cover and clean it. Don't forget to reset the light afterwards.

Do I need to reset , as the light is intermittent, not sure if it would need reset vs it just working if cleaned.

Drive around (safely) and see if it stays off.

What would you use to reset it if it doesn't? What kind of code scanner do your have?
