Less than a week ago I bought a 2016 Honda Pilot EX-L AWD. It has just over 36k miles and there were no issues when I went on the test drive and when I drove it home. The next day I noticed that it was shifting hard around 22 mph and down shifting hard when I let off the gas and started coasting around 20-18 mph. Then the "Emissions System Problem" light came on. I took it into a dealership and they said it was due to service bulletin (17-036)/software update. They said it turned off the dash light and it should also fix the rough shifting. The light has not come back on, and it is not shifting as hard, but I still feel a slight jerk around 20ish mph and sometimes at other speeds. Has anyone had luck fixing this issue? Is it related to the transmission? I was so excited to buy a Pilot and now I am hoping I didn't make a terrible mistake.
