New member just migrated from the OdyClub forum. I already recognize some of the familiar names. Just purchased a 2011 Pilot Touring for my wife since her 2005 Odyssey Touring died from timing belt failure. I’m here to learn about the newer VCM and which muzzler to purchase. Glad to be here!

Hello.
I’m using S-VCM because at the time, it was most known for not needing to change out resistors manually. My 2012 V6 Crosstour would not have made it to 303k (still going) miles without it.
The 2016+ direct injection engines have VCM3 which seems to have eliminated the piston rings issue (at least I javet seen it occur yet on any VCM3 vehicle). But 2nd gen Pilots have VCM2, just like the 2011-2017 Odysseys. This is the worst of all the VCM systems, so I'd definitely put a muzzler on it.

The fancy muzzler was not available the other day so I ordered the original. I’ve used it on my odyssey for 4 years and it has worked perfect.

Welcome to the forum.
Thanks! I installed the VCM Tuner and it works great. No more ECO light.
