Just purchased a 2019 Pilot EX-L for the family. We have always been a GM or Volkswagen household, but wanted to see what this Honda thing was about. Ive had good luck with them so I'm hoping to have good luck here too. I need to look around and find a good maintenance schedule to follow.

Let me know when you find one. All you're going to get is "follow the maintenance minder". There are some ad-hoc schedules floating around that were done by some members but that's about it. Don't feel bad or surprised, I was the same way after buying my 2022 about 2 weeks ago. I started searching and found out the hard way.

Regardless, welcome (I'm a little new here myself). I too am a 2 time VW owner and after buying an Accord and this new Pilot I would never go back.

Ugh, I was hoping that I was just searching for the wrong stuff through the manual and online.

We have always had good luck with the VWs, just didnt care for the Atlas this time around when shopping. We sold our Jetta Sportwagen to buy the Pilot.
The maintenance minder is a bit of a stupid system IMO. But you can come up with good service intervals using the pre-maintenance minder intervals. 30k for ATF, timing belt every 105k/7 years, etc.

This and 5K oil changes, which is a little early, but I live in South Tx and do a lot of very short commutes.

Personally I still use the MM for oil changes, it's good enough for that in my eyes, but I don't use it for anything else.
Welcome to the forum. Pre-MM would be 2005 Pilot. You should be able to find a 2005 maintenance schedule on Honda’s website.
