I didnāt realize that the rear cover can be installed at a lower level
Sharp eye my laddieAuto start- O F F !
yes it kind of makes it feel a little more capacious (like the Odyssey I'm coming from, although obviously the Odyssey has a REALLY deep trunk....)I didnāt realize that the rear cover can be installed at a lower level![]()
OMG NO š² YOU CANT PARK THAT CAR AT A GROCERY STORE!! š¤£Thanks, I sure will. I won't have to do a DIY hitch but I will be doing DIY maintenance going forward.
Feels like a bunch of these are now starting to come in....I think we will see more on the road soon enough.....
One thing I am looking at is the rear storage. As of right now, I think I prefer the "lower" tray position as I think it will be better to hold groceries etc. Unless I end up fitting some folding chairs etc below that space with the tray in the "upper" position....will play with both I guess. (Note that the panel can be turned to the carpeted side or the hard side in either the upper or lower position...flexible design

My 2022 Pilot has that feature too (carpet or plastic, reversable cover), it's a nice touch that you'll enjoy.
Quick question on your radar cruise control. On the speedometer pic below, the green carrot represents the set speed (70 MPH). Do you know if the green bar represents the speed of the vehicle in front you? In the picture below, it looks you are matching the speed of the vehicle in front of you. However, as you came up on the slower car, and before your Pilot began to slow, did that green bar show up on your speedometer (i.e., the white needle would have been on 70 MPH, and the left end of the green bar that appeared would have ended at 55 MPH). My GLE has that feature, and it's a great feature in my opinion as it gives you an indication of closing speed -- it also shows up on the HUD -- does it do the same on your Pilot HUD. It appears like your Elite Pilot may have those same features, have you noticed how it works?

The green bar indicates the cruise set speed VS the adaptive radars actual speed. In this pic, the cruise is set to 70 but the adaptive is picking up the car doing 55 and following that.Good question re: the green bar spanning between 55 and 70 here. I also notice (not in this picture) that when the system picks up the local speed limit sign, it puts a little red carrot on the speedometer at the limit speed. I will do some driving with the ACC and see what that green bar is doing. The other green "haze" on the gauges is the Eco indicator that glows more when you are driving fuel efficiently. I turned that feature off later as I like a cleaner look and will drive however I drive, I don't need the green glow helping to guide me haha
Note also that the Elite has 4 different gauge settings....this one is "Round". They also have "bars" where the tach is a vertical bar to the far left, and the speedo is a vertical bar to the far right. Makes for a more open screen. I just tend to like the dials and seeing the needles move around so I opted for Round. There are 2 other settings where the dials disappear when you enter the active cruise control mode
Ah so the green bar visualizes how much faster the car can potentially go vs where it is now.The green bar indicates the cruise set speed VS the adaptive radars actual speed. In this pic, the cruise is set to 70 but the adaptive is picking up the car doing 55 and following that.
The Pilot we first test drove blinded me on approach when the salesman unlocked it. They are bright!Another plus for this 23 Pilot - the headlights are WHITE and BRIGHT!
Haha what do you think I am driving? An Acura? HahaOMG NO š² YOU CANT PARK THAT CAR AT A GROCERY STORE!! š¤£
Those parking spaces out in no man's land is for vehicles like this š¤
Possibly. More importantly, did you name her yet? š¤£Haha what do you think I am driving? An Acura? Haha
Dunno need to have a couple beers and collect my thoughts. I don't know how to top My Shadow Hunter. All suggestions considered. And for some reason I never think of my cars as she and her hahaPossibly. More importantly, did you name her yet? š¤£

Midnight Demon?
Night Fury?
Dark Spirit?
Black Licorice?
Oh, you gotta go with midnight demon. It sounds rich and mean at the same time. Now all you need is some expensive acessories (IE: 24ā rims, neon under glow, plastidip your emblems) and make sure you tell us how much it costs and how it makes the best SUV just that much better.Dunno need to have a couple beers and collect my thoughts. Also unlike some of the Acura owners I have really fallen down on the job. I have owned the car for 10 hours already and yet I haven't already had it taken in for thousands of dollars of PPF and Ceramics and new wheels and stuff š
I canāt offer a ton of advise on this as I have never been a huge fan of plate frames. But thatās partially because I have a black plate that they no long make that is grandfathered in and I donāt wanna cover it up. Plus, I think no frame looks cleaner even with the screw heads showing. I just run a nice stainless steel screw to ensure they donāt corrode or rust. Also I want to pick up some simple clean black license plate frames. The ones I have on our Accord were metal and they chip over time. But people say the silicone ones pick up dirt? Anyone have luck with anything specific?
Haha yeah dudes are already spending thousands to mod their cars and I am looking for a plastic license plate frame haha, and I am gonna get myself some kind of ceramic spray too and start this car out right.Oh, you gotta go with midnight demon. For license plate frames, check out these rubber ones. They work pretty well.Haha yeah dudes are already spending thousands to mod their cars and I am looking for a plastic license plate frame haha, and I am gonna get myself some kind of ceramic spray too and start this car out right.
I hear you on the plate covers. Do you know the screw size? The ones that came from my dealer are yellowish silver which I assume isn't gonna be a true stainless but probably a zinc. I agree it would be nice look to get true stainless that won't rust up over time
