I have a Honda Pilot Touring AWD 2018, 155,000 km.
Recently, "Emission systems problem" lit up (it was not blinking), though car was driving perfect. As it is out of warranty, I had it checked at the dealer, charged me almost 300$ and diagnosed code P420, told me that catalytic converter needs to be replaced (3000$). They reset the light and I left, but after another 10 minutes of driving the light came back on, stayed on for about 50 km, then it went off and stayed off by itself.
I went to another mechanic that I trust in my neighborhood, who told me to leave it alone and come back if the light comes back up. It never did, and car is driving just fine.
Just about a month prior to this I had the fuel injectors replaced (under warranty).
Anyone else with similar problem?
Thank you.
