Pompano Honda in South Florida has decided to auction off an EX Pilot off their lot. Starting bid $27,000 with no options. There is a "reserve amount" to the auction.

Yes, I'm replying to my own post...I was amused, now I'm confused.

Looking back at ebay, this morning there are 4 different Pilots on auction. All have reserves. One auction has 17 bidders, another has 15 bidders.

Why would someone by a new car this way, especially when the dealer makes it a Reserve auction?

I have yet to see a white Pilot in reality yet. This one has some good interior shots, wouldn't you say that the Fern interior is grey with a green touch? I've seen Oddeseys with Fern interior, but they don't seem as green as this Pilot. I am interested in buying a white Pilot, can any Pilot owners out there give me a description or tell me their thoughts on the Fern interior?

I own a white Honda Pilot EX-L and I would say you described the interior color well when you called it "gray with a green touch" Most would probably just call it grey. I looks good.
