I don't believe Sumitomo makes anything but tires, but I've been wrong before.
As far as using Amalie Universal Synthetic ATF in the 6-speed, I went with it because it had a little higher VI than VML. I might say that shifting improved a little, but I'm not prepared to say that this is the answer to smoother shifts. The Mrs isn't complaining. I might not be opposed to trying Amsoil blue cap in the 6-speed, if it dont break the bank. I'm sure it says it can replace Honda DW-1?
Between your embedded signature video, all the blank space beneath it and then the even more irritating inline between message ads, my scroll wheel is overheating and I'm not sure even the high priced AmsOil full synthetic scroll wheel lube I'm using will be able to save it. Maybe some Sumitomo scroll wheel tires will help me high speed swerve around them.... ?

Just say "no" to blank space.

All those rubber seals and gaskets hiding in there under the hood, some of which we didn't even know we had, have drunk in their AT-205 plasticizer youth serum cum* cure for incontinence. No more leaks.

*Just a tip: Although it's a perfectly respectable Latin conjunction meaning with or serving two purposes, I recommend exercising caution in Googling "Latin cum."
Two years of high school Latin and out of the entire excruciating experience, about all I remember is amo amas amat amant .....which is not how I feel about I, you, he, she, it, or they them y'all bros cousins and ppls... although I will admit to a certain aimer to all. Oui! oui!

Just one year here. Although at the time I failed to appreciate it for all its worth, I look back on it with a fond smile now.

I wish I hadn't watched that ... now I'll have nightmares.
What's really frightening is enough Latin stuck to make talking to lawyers and doctors easier. But it really gave me enough respect for proper use of conjugation that to this day, I really cringe when people ignore the rules of English and math. More so becoming less ignore and more just not aware.

So you believe it's best to add this BG product to DW-1 to make it better? Is this still working out for you?
The dealer includes the BG product as part of their transmission service.
Does it make it better? Well, it doesn't seem it make it worse.
I haven't done a back-to-back comparison with and without the BG product.
The Honda dealer (and the Acura dealer from the same dealer group which serviced two of my previous vehicles) has always used BG products without any detrimental effect over the past 30+ years.
Is this still working out for me? So far, yes.

Or you could buy a proven better ATF in the first place. 😁👍🏻

Why mess with success?
Talk to me when you've had your Pilot for 19+ years.
My Pilot has only had OEM Z1 and DW1 tranny fluid used on it. 130k miles and it’s still shifting smoothly.

According to @xGS , you need BG to make 19 years with DW-1.

My Pilot's transmission uses a secret blend of Z-1, DW-1 and BG ATC Plus.
Yeah, but do you have the 11 herbs and spices? :D

Is BG additive on Honda corporation’s approved fluid list? I thought dealerships were supposed to use Honda corporate approved fluids.
