If that was a Mobius strip, you'd have a one-sided viewpoint.
I suppose it all depends on how you look at it, Mr. Escher.

Sometimes I think you're a computer bot that asks questions to generate message traffic.
It's all starting to make sense now.

Now, it's choosing photos of motorcycles.

As for the why, what it says is:

For DW-1 users. I am surprised more aren't saying they use DW-1 because of warranty. That might be my only reason to use DW-1 if I were already having issues with my 6-speed that the dealer knows about. Otherwise I'd be running to a Full Synthetic ATF doing 4 maybe 5 D&Fs.
The 5-speed loves Valvoline MaxLife.
It seems my '15 (6 spd?) likes it too?

" Otherwise I'd be running to a Full Synthetic ATF doing 4 maybe 5 D&Fs."

AND, driving on Sumitomatoes PO3's? LOL is

2015 is a 5-speed.
Valvoline MaxLife ATF all the way.

Maybe you would like to vote "Other" here, and why Amsoil is your choice....
Already voted in one poll, don't think I can change. Poll here doesn't have a "Other" choice. I haven't actually put the AmsOil in the Pilot yet. I guess we'll see... time will tell. I might know in short order if the shift points move too far up and firmer than I'd like. Didn't you use something new that had that affect?

I'm experimenting with Amalie Universal Synthetic in the 6-speed. Not recommending nor discouraging it's use. My 5-speeds will stay on MaxLife.

So is it shifting hard? Try Amsoil. :p Does Sumitomo make oil? Hey, if I don't like the Amsoil in the 5speed, I might have about three gallons available at a really good price!

I don't believe Sumitomo makes anything but tires, but I've been wrong before.
As far as using Amalie Universal Synthetic ATF in the 6-speed, I went with it because it had a little higher VI than VML. I might say that shifting improved a little, but I'm not prepared to say that this is the answer to smoother shifts. The Mrs isn't complaining. I might not be opposed to trying Amsoil blue cap in the 6-speed, if it dont break the bank. I'm sure it says it can replace Honda DW-1?

Thanks, no more oil stains.
I consider the (self-inflicted, not from leaks thanks to At-205 :)) oil stains on my garage floor as a DIY badge of courage.

You just might need to replace cam thrust cover gasket (O-rings)? (Video link in my signature) I always suspected an oil leak somewhere else. I'ma hoping this will fix what I thought was a rear end seal leak.

All those rubber seals and gaskets hiding in there under the hood, some of which we didn't even know we had, have drunk in their AT-205 plasticizer youth serum cum* cure for incontinence. No more leaks.

*Just a tip: Although it's a perfectly respectable Latin conjunction meaning with or serving two purposes, I recommend exercising caution in Googling "Latin cum."
