First off, Hello! I'm new to the Pilot but not new to Honda. I have been trolling in the dark on this forum for quite some time now and just this last month have purchased an '09 Pilot EX-L with 39k miles. The car is in great condition and loving it. So, I was in the dealership getting a complimentary transmission service and one of the service advisers saw my armrest on the door and said that the rippling will get worse and it will eventually crack. I'm talking about the vinyl cushioned pad on the door. The next few days my boss who is also a pilot owner came to me and said that his had cracked and he wanted me to look into replacing it for him. I have ordered the part from my local dealer for $36.45 and I'm looking to see if anyone has done this job before. I'm pretty handy with cars and used to work with a tech for Volvo on the weekends when I was in school so I know a few little tricks. If anyone has some tips on doing it I would be very appreciative! Glad to be on the forum and so much info on here for me to learn from. When I do the job I will post a write up on how I did it also if anyone else wants to try it.
