In another car I used to use my door lock button on the remote control to find my car in a parking lot if I forgot exactly where I parked. The car would sound the horn twice which was enough for me to locate it. With my new 2021 Honda Pilot, though, the remote door lock is a very low beep.

Sounds like a minor issue, but getting old means sometimes forgetting where you parked!

Is there a workaround for this? Can that dinky beep be a horn toot instead?

No, just the beep at a volume which is not adjustable (on my 2019 any way).

You should be able to use your key fob and set off the alarm which sounds the horn if you really can't find your car.

Oh - yeah. Didn't think of setting off the alarm. That'll be my last ditch, but good to know it's an option.

Thanks!
