I'm experiencing the noise that seems tobe in the gas tank,I know that it is plastic tank and it does not have a baffel.Does anybody have the same problem?The Honda tech stated that it is the vehicle made.I still don't believe that was true.Everytime I made a stop or backing out of the garage,it sounds like I hit something.

gas tank "thud". This is a familiar problem with all Pilots and the Acura MDX. Do a search on either this forum or the X forum and you will see endless discussions regarding this issue. If that is what you have it is "normal" for all Pilots. I would check occassionally to make sure I didn't hit anything.

Our Odyssey does it as well. Don't notice it anymore.
