I was just told by Canadian Tire that they no longer loan tools.
NAPA Canada does not loan them too.
Who still does?

And WTF is going on?

This is Canada, of course. They're always looking for a way to make the average Canadian pay more. The go-to method is usually taxes. But also just look at prices for the same items (when even available) on Amazon.ca vs. on Amazon.com.

Found the ball joint press and Honda supplement at PartSource. But they gave me the supplement for the Civics (the only one they had, did not fit the Pilot) and I ended up grinding the ball joint off before pressing it out
Asked them about the Honda specific compliance tool press and they did not have it. Not cool!

Cost to rent? $180 for the ball joint press ($48 at Princess Auto to buy) Holy crap!

Hi! Reasons for denial of credit may be as follows:
Errors in documents, lack of necessary paperwork - all documents must be in order at the time of processing.
Bad credit history - if the client has had delinquencies in payments at this bank or others, it serves as a serious reason for refusal.
Criminal record of the client or his relatives.
Insolvency - when calculating the minimum payment, the total amount of the borrower's income is insufficient to repay the debt.
Unofficial employment - many lending institutions are cautious about granting loans to customers who are not officially employed, and some always refuse.
Non-compliance with requirements (age, residence registration). You can find out about them here - Yhdistelylaina pankista: Kilpailuta yli 25 eri pankkia ja rahoituslaitosta nyt!
Arrears of alimony, utility payments - this is a serious ""bell"" for the bank that the client may not make monthly payments on time.
