Drive belt removal tool from harbor freight

First disconnect the positive side from the battery with a 10mm socket

Secondly put the front end on higher level with jack stands. Apply the foot brakes and chock the back wheels.

Open the hood to the highest position to get apply light to the engine bay.

Remove the tabs and the 10mm screws from the splash guard to expose the bottom half of the belt..

Take pics of belt pattern since it is one belt makes it easy

Ok next its option but i did it for add more space to pull the tensioner... so i unplug the wires that block
134343
put it to the side

U also see i placed the 17mm socket on the tensioner(above pic)
Place the serpentine tool on the socket and pull toward or pull towards the front bumper and hold this loosen the belt and could easily side off with the other hand

With the belt off u can pull from the bottom and top
Take the opportunity to look for leaks and poor pulley that might need to be change
134348

Now match the new belt with old belt
Make sure they are the same length
134349

Now from the bottom place the belt back on the two big pulleys with the rigid part the belt on those pulley the the tensioner pulley under the smooth part of the belt.
Then go to the top grab the of the belt and pull the tensioner once more and side the balance of belt on the pulley closest to the radiator might be a little tough
When its on release the serpentine tool and make sure the belt is on all the grooves

Replug in the wires 3 plugs
Attach the battery terminal
Reattach the splash and de jack ur pilot
Start the car and check the belt...
Job complete
