Hi,

Is there an easy way to disable the back up alarm/sensors when a bike rack is installed on the Pilot? We ride quite a bit and having the alarm go off every time we put it in reverse is a bit problematic.

Thanks
Adam

Assume you have the NAV model. On p.184 of the Owner's Manual, there's this. If adjusting the camera's zoom and brightness parameters doesn't do the trick, consider placing some black electrical tape over it when you put your bikes back there.

I have this issue too, but own a SE without NAV or backup cam, just the sensors around the rear bumper. Pretty annoying when backing up with the bike rack loaded.
I haven't found anything to help. Anyone have ideas on how to turn it off when we want?

Edit: Thinking about it, I'll look at the wiring when I have time and see if a toggle switch can be worked in.
