I replaced the donut with a full size replica rim from ebay, and matching tire. I check the spare twice a year, and checked it before a trip last April and found that other then being rusty it seemed serviceable, and always held air.
I decided at last inspection to replace it for piece of mind, and when I lowered it to install my new full size wheel, this is what I found. I don't think this spare would have made it 1 mile.

2019 EX-L 60.000 miles, always properly inflated @ 60PSI. Never mounted.
