Discussion Starter #1
Ok, I have been chasing a starting issue for a while now and it is becoming expensive and I am slowly going insane. We thought that maybe the timing belt had skipped a tooth so that is replaced. Then starter maybe, replaced twice now and that's not it. New battery, no fix. All went well for about a week after installing new starter and then tonight major hesitation when starting, needles started jumping around then it caught and away we went. As driving radio intermittently cuts out for maybe a second at a time, then dash lights and heater fan start to have small cuts in power and then go back to normal. I even took the battery back and had it tested to make sure it was good and all was well. PLEASE, suggestions, hints, anything.

Have you looked into the alternator?

Yup, sounds like a ground issue. Look at the battery negative cable and all large wires in engine bay which connect to chassis.
