As part of our deal, dealer owed me crossbars. Just got them installed today. The only luggage racks I've ever had allowed you to easily slide the crossbars to fit whatever you're putting up there. I haven't really had a chance to look, but are these bars adjustable without tools?

YOU MUST NEVER MOVE THE CROSSBARS!!! YOU COULD UPSET THE SPACE-TIME CONTINUUM!!!!

Actually, it's easy to move or remove them with a simple Torx screwdriver. There is one bolt on each side of the crossbars and you simply loosen them to slide the crossbars around.

I set mine to fit my Thule Excursion box and was able to leave the crossbars in place for my Rocket Rack. See my sig for pictures.

You need a Torx screw driver with a T-30 head. I just installed mine this morning, and they are very easily moved, but you'll need that tool.

Thanks for the replies. Dang, I hate when I fiddle with that SPACE-TIME CONTINUIM thing!
