Hello Community,

What brake grease did you use in the past?
In the past I used Permatex 24125 Ceramic Extreme lubricant until I had to do another replacement and realized this extreme heat (up to 3000F) has turned into tart rubber substance.

Thank you.

I just use CRC 05359 Brake Caliper Synthetic Grease nothing fancy it works and lasts a long time since you don't need very much on the application.

I use Mission Automotive silicone paste, works well.

Also, no way brakes get to 3000F. 2500F is when steel melts.

Same... works well enough I haven't had a caliper lock up on me yet due to the slide pins!

I have not greased the piston before pressing it back in but had a piston on the Sonata start acting up on me so I may start lubing the piston before pressing it back in as well.
