I have a 2005 honda pilot . There is a buzzing noise or whining noise, that I can hear while driving, when accelerating from 20-35. After 35 its gone and before 20 I don't hear it. It only happens when I step on gas, if I step off gas on 29 mph it stops but if I press down again on 27mph the sound is back until I hit pass 35 mph. what is wrong? it has 136k and no lights on at all. pleaseee help

A buzzing/whining sound may also be caused by a failing timing belt tensioner. Mine failed in January and made a similar sound. Be careful, this is an interference engine and if the timing belt slips it can cause engine damage. I was fortunate in that it did not slip when my tensioner failed. Best wishes to you!

Not a rumble strip sound? If it is, it could be transmission noise. I changed the transmission fluid x3-4 times and the noise went away. Thanks.
