I have a EX Pilot without the NAV or DVD. My radio plays CDs out of one speaker for the most part with a little sound out of the others. FM varies from all speakers to one and of course AM works perfectly.

I talked to my dealer and they said Honda doesn't have any replacement radios available. They have placed an order and don't have an ETA.

Are all you folks taking the replacement radios? What gives?

Rattle the chains

hipcheck_now,

I had my Head Unit (RES) replaced with a new one a few months ago. One of the springs associated with the control button broke. I had no problem getting it replaced in a couple of weeks. I just showed it to my usual service rep at Honda, and she ordered it for me. When I went in for my scheduled service period, it was there waiting for me. I would start rattling some chains at your dealership. Go as far as you have to. You should not have to wait long for a replacement radio for a vehicle that is priced like the Pilot.

Just my 2¢.

Good Luck

Took about a week

My replacement took about a week to get in.

(The problem was my fault, but don't tell Honda)

Did you talk to the parts person or the service person?
Did you get a copy of a work order showing it was ordered?
