So that is not uncommon after you replace the brake pads. You have to pump them to get the piston against the pad. My question is. Can you describe how you bled the brakes? Any chance you pulled in air?

Ok you got air in the break line. How did you bleed the breaks? That is extremely dangerous. Please please proceed with caution. If you’re stumped have it towed to a mechanic. You should of had brake fluid in a bottle with one line in the brake fluid while the other end is connected to the caliper as someone presses and hold the brake pedal down. Then you loosen the bleeder screw and fluid goes into the bottle. The reason you fill the bottle with fluid and press the brake pedal is the fluid keeps air from being sucked into the caliper. I made mine with a gaterade bottle and fish tank tube. Works awesome. Several YouTube videos how you should do it
