Part kits from RockAuto are a convenient way to save time and ensure success. Brake kits include premium matched pads and rotors for quick, controlled, quiet stops. Power Stop brake kits for all four wheels currently start at around $200 for the Honda Pilot. Find brake kits and parts for your specific vehicle under the Brake/Wheel Hub category at RockAuto.com.

Would this be considered an upgrade over the stock brakes that seem to overheat and "warp" easily? Anybody used these?

They were definately an upgrade from my OEM's that probably had close to 120k miles on them. I used these on my 2003 and so far so good. Everything went together very easily. This rotor and pad combo seem to have more "bite" then OEM. My original rotors were very "warped" I replaced all 4 rotors and pads and bled the system. With about 15k miles on this kit, I have not experienced any problems, no squeaks, rattles or warping. This rotor and pad combo is hard to beat for the price for a set of 4. Only complaint is that there is no coating on the rotor where it meets the hub. It develops surface rust in a matter of days. Its just surface rust and wont hurt anything. If you spend more money you can get rotors with e-coating but I am not sure if it's worth the extra cost, they eventually start to rust as well.

New here... and sorry to dig up a two month old thread... but I was looking at one of the brake kits: POWER STOP K5370 Z23 Evolution Sport that some have mentioned. As I looked at the individual items and priced it out; Im curious as to why it is slightly more than adding the pads and rotors separately. Is there anything additional that comes with the kit?
