Just had our 6 year old 2016 Pilot in for oil change etc. Dealer recommended a brake fluid replacement.
Over the years I've owned many different cars and car brands. Including a Porsche and Toyota I kept for 28 years... the Toyota was the best car ever because it simply worked.
I've never replaced brake fluid and I've never had any problems.
We live in Northern Colorado which has a fairly dry climate, perhaps that explains my apparent good luck?
The 2016 Pilot is the first and only Honda I've every owned. And what puzzles me is why the Honda brand requires so many expensive fluid changes ($500+ for the transmission)? It certainly sets itself apart in this category.
