I apologize if this is a duplicate and please direct me to the proper forum if it is. However, i have read many posts about people having problems with infotainment and speakers popping, restarting, etc. My issue is slightly different. The radio, Sirius XM, navigation, etc. all works fine. I have had the random reboot of the infotainment about once each week while driving but that is more annoying than anything else. What is happening that is driving me absolutely nuts is when i get on a bluetooth phone call, there is a popping or crackling noise througout the call. My wife also used her phone and recreated the problem so I know it is not an issue with my phone. It only happens on calls and all other sound is fine. Has anyone had this issue affecting only phone calls? If so, please tell me there is a fix. As someone that has many conference calls (especially during Covid) this is driving me nuts. THank you.

I would kick this over to the dealer especially if under normal or extended warranty. Best if you can record it happening. No point getting the "we cannot recreate problem" line after you have spent hours getting there, waiting for car etc.

I did but to no avail. They applied the TSB2058 fix which corrected the popping noise for music through BT or Android Auto as well as the radio. But for some reason when I am on phone calls there is soo much static/crackling it drives me nuts. I am actually at the dealer at this moment and they cant seem to fix it. Tech connected his iPhone and claims the problem doesn't happen and its android specific. This is the 3rd time I have come in.
