I'm picking up my White 2020 Touring Pilot this weekend and want to have the black trim bumpers, door, and tailgate and black grille assembly accessories added to it. Is it better to not go through the dealer for these add ons? Can they be just purchased online somewhere and installed myself? I also want crossbars added to it. I am trading in my 2017 Pilot with crossbars. Will the crossbars on the 2017 fit the 2020 and I could just swap them out? The dealership is an hour away so I'm trying to avoid having to go there to pick up the car and then go back and wait for the accessories to be put on and maybe save a little money. So I'd like to know if the trim and crossbars is something we can just do ourselves and if my old crossbars will fit.

Someone else may have an accurate answer, but I think the crossbars can be used from your '17 Pilot. As far as accessories check pricing on College Hills or Bernardi Honda and take print outs of the prices for the accessories you want. That way the dealer may be able to price match them. The dealer may even throw in free installation. If you are financing the purchase, you might be able to roll in the cost of the accessories into the payments.

You can look on Collegehillshonda or bernardi, find the parts, there are often instructions so you can see what looks do-able, or what you should have a shop do. It only took a few hours for them to change my grill & install towing pkg/tranny cooler. Did I see your thread on the fb group? ;)
