Hey folks. I'm installing a back up camera and I was wondering is there a ground wire somewhere on the trunk? I don't want to wire all the way to inside of the car. I was hopping there is some ground wire on the trunk door. Thanks.

If you have an ohm meter measure resistance from the cabin side of the tailgate hinge to either the latch harness or the reverse light harness. ~0 ohms means that the wire is connected to ground/chassis.
Perform these measurements with the battery negative cable disconnected.
Is your camera unit wireless back to the head end?

Yes I have the Sony ax1000 which has the yellow input for the video. And then I bought wireless transmitter and receiver. My unit has the reverse wire on the back which i have to connect on the passenger side wires to trigger reverse. But my question is. Should i connect both the transmitter and the receiver on black and red wire on both sides ( reverse light and back of the unit ) or one of them should be grounded?

Can you provide images of the documentation which came with your unit? That should help answer your questions.
