Hello there,

I have an 06 Pilot EX-L and I'm going for the overland look on it (not just looks but function as well). I was wondering if anyone has added an auxillary fuel tank where the spare tire is normally mounted? I'm planning to mount a spare to a roof basket on top (because I have aftermarket rims and tires and aftermarket spare will not fit underneath) and thought I may as well try to put something useful where it was located. Thanks in advance

By the way, a full size spare does indeed fit, at least OE size does. Welcome to the forums.

the oem size does fit But like mine that are 255 i can only dream of it .. lol .. im also in the process of doing the over lander look and function. the rear tire will be mounted on the back using a trailer hitch style tire mount .basket on the roof and the usual stuff would love to see what users did to upgrade the jack.

That was my first thought. It all depends on the direction of the bolts in the rear bumper area.
