Anyone try larger tires on the new pilot?

Are those the KO2s? If so how are you liking them on the TrailSport, any issues with rubbing?
No rubbing but it's pretty tight at full turns. Overall, the KO2 have been alright mostly driven them on dry surfaces, but this week we have snow coming. Hoping to see how they do.

Nice i might go for some ridge crawlers in your size! What about the so called speedometer malfunction?
I wouldnt say its a malfuntion but more of a recalibration as the speedometer works. Just not accurate. From what I've been told was going 70-75mph you're off by +2mph or +3mph due to larger circumference of the wheel rotating. I just drive putting that in the back of my mind not to speed too much when driving past/by cops lol

It's been a little while since we last heard from the folks who installed larger tires. Are there any updates of note? Has anyone experienced any rubbing or other sources of regret?

Side note: For some reason, this conversation shows as having six pages but I can only see all of those pages if I access it directly from Google results. If I click on anything or log-in once I'm inside the forum, I only see two pages. I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing that. But this is my apology in advance if there have been updates that I can't see.
Did an overlanding trip a few weeks back to Moab/Hanksville area. Haven't had any issues as I'm riding on 275/65/R18 and lifted 2".

I was putting some AT tires on with used oem wheels on my Pilot and hooked up a diagnostic device to check the batteries on the TPMS sensors and saw that there is an option for aftermarket tires. I didn't go into it farther to see if programming for different sizes is possible.
You should check to see. This will be helpful to know that 4th gen Pilots can be recalibrated.

Love the look, man. Any weird handling, cornering or braking issues with those tires? Still no rubbing? I see you're in WI - any issues with snow buildup in the wheel well? Looking to do something same/similar on my wifes 2025 Pilot Trailsport that just arrived.
The driving and handling all feels stock to me. A tad bit more road noise but I zone out easily so it doesn't bother me much. Last winter we didn't have much snow surprisingly so I can't say much but when we did, it drove fine in what little snow we had. Also no rubbing at all for me. Only issue I've heard is if you have the oem mudd guards, those will rub. Simple fix is to remove them. Since the posting of my pics, I've lifted it and add a NoLo Designs platform rack and put on many miles out west (on and offroad) to the PNW or the SW with no issues.

Looks great. Any idea if the larger tires will affect the Maintenance Minder? Also, which grill lights do you have and how did you mount it?
No idea but its set to oem specs so I've been doing them when MM turns on. Pretty sure the mileage is more but I do the MM usually at 15% so it's still in range. As for the grill lights I went with Auxbeam 5in led lights and for now I used black zipties and tied the brackets to the grill. Eventually when I have time to brainstorm ideas of how to mount them onto the grill properly ill redo the lights, but for now it works and it's a cheap alternative.

Does anyone know if the new Pilot has an option in the computer for a tech to adjust vehicle height or tire size?
Nope. No one has tried to see if adjustments can be made to fix incorrect speedometer readings due to larger wheels diameter. I used a Scanguage 3 to mitigate this, but its pricey and it's another thing to attach to your windshield or where ever you put it.

I have a Chinese knockoff of a dealer dongle and laptop software for it. There's a module for entering accessory tire information. I have not gone into it to see what the options are. It may be able to adjust the tire size. I don't know why else it would be there.
That sounds promising that the Pilot speedometer can be adjusted for the one's who have larger tires.

Read through this whole post and can't find what I am looking for. Blatantly looking to see if anyone has pulled off 33s with a 2.5 HRG lift. Or more detailed question is anyone running the HRG 2.5 lift and what do you believe to be the max tire size with no rub. Looking to do that lift with 270/70/R18s if possible. Plus, room for the spare?? Thanks, I know that's a convoluted question but just wanting some answers.
I think someone on a FB group posted that they were on a lift (maybe 1.5") and ran 265/70/R18, which equates to 32.6". The main problem is the rear if you go bigger than that.

Just wanted to share, it seems the new Passport Trailsport is going to come with 275/60r18 General Grabber AT’s. Which must be a new size for them, as I did not see any AT in that size on the General Tires website. Also will have the 12” display screen, full digital gauge cluster and some more goodies. Make me a little jealous of the Passport. Things the Passport TS have that I wished the Pilot TS.

Rock sliders
Better approach/departure angles
Full digital guage cluster
Front tow hooks
Elevation, pitch and roll measurements
12 in screen with updated Android OS
Guidelines for trailwatch

With this said. Pretty sure when the refresh happens to the Pilot, these things will probably be added to the Pilot TS. Overall, I'm happy with the Pilot TS. Prefer to have more space in general. What I'm curious about is the front tow hooks. They said it was made possible due to being built in the crumpled zone areas which means if the hooks hit something. Does that mean it gets crushed inward? Also if the rock rails will fit the Pilot since the body will be similar.

Yeah they definitely stepped the game up!

One of the videos pointed out the hooks were in an impact crumple zone. So yeah they would crush inwards if hit with enough force. As that’s the only way they pass safety regulations. Which I believe is why the Pilot didn’t get them to begin with and we only got the front recovery point underneath.

I know the Passport seems to have a bit of a chop in the front and year, making it shorter than the Pilot. So there might be a chance those sliders would work? Or take slight modification to fit. But I really dig it and the extra capability they gave it.
Agree, I'm also hoping with the kick off of the Passport TS being "Honda's most offroad capable vechicle", aftermarket support would increase.

This is so helpful, thanks! I currently run 265/65/18 Toyo ATIIIs on the Ridgeline HPD rims. On the fence on whether I want to do lift and go up in size, so this insight is incredibly valuable to have.
That tire size will fit with no modifications done. You can keep it the way it is if you want. Doing a lift won't make a difference as the max size is always going to be 32" tire with no rubbing issues and maybe a 33? I heard that a 32.6" will fit but I can't confirm.
