Wow, no posts in this forum since March 19.....

Well, here goes.....who out there would be interested in attending a THIRD DC/MD/VA Pilot meet? For those interested, would you want to get something arranged before the summer's out? Or is it getting kinda late and you'd prefer doing something in the fall???

Bump. Less than 2 months to go. See details at top of the thread.:p
Thanks for the bump, jay.

I'm thinking of providing some sort of door prize, too.

Maybe if we get enuff items, most everybody will end up going home with something!!!!

Attendee list correction

I see that my name is still on the list of confirmed attendees. May be Kemo can fix that in light of the earlier news I shared (about the vacation plan clash with the date). I will be present in spirit though:4:

We'll remind him to check this thread when he checks in from his vacation, and fix it. Sorry you can't make it.

Interested :)

Hi All,

I'm not a very frequent poster but I would love to make the next Pilot meet if that's alright with everyone!

Kemo, if you don't remember , I'm the guy who works at the place you used to... off Nursery Rd.

I haven't made much modifications to my 04' Nighthawk Black w/ Navi but I would love to see what you all did with yours. Still trying to set aside some funds for sidesteps :)

Hey guys and gals. I regreatfully am gonna have to cancel my appearence at the meet. My daughter decided to change her wedding date to Oct 2nd. You know these darn kids and the last minute changes. It all had to do with her honeymoon. So Kemo I guess you can take me off of the list. Sorry and I hope we all can meet up another time. :1:

Very sorry to hear you can't make it.....but I'd say chances are good this won't be the last of the "Meet & Greets"....so we'll look for you next time!!!! (We'll need to "tickle" Kemo to update the attendance chart, upon his return to the board )

And, we'd love to have you!!!! As mentioned to drm1111, we'll have to get Kemo to update the attendance chart once he's back on the board.....so don't worry that your name doesn't appear yet.

Hey guys,

Mr. Mca38 and I may not be able to make the luncheon. Our son's graduation from Basic Training, at Fort Jackson SC, is on Thursday September 30th. We had originally planned to fly, but now we're driving (the Pilot of course). I'm not sure we'll be home in time for the meet and greet.

We were looking forward to seeing everyone, but we're proud of our son and excited to see him again before he leaves for his AIT.

:18:Here's a BUMP to remind everybody that MD/VA/DC Pilot Meet & Greet III is ONLY 9 DAYS AWAY on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 12 noon at the Four Seasons Restaurant in Mount Airy, MD.:18:

:) :) :) :) :)

I noticed that a whole lotta other stuff is going on the same day, not far from Mount Airy. So if you're still up for some fun after the meet (or even before, for earlybirds) and have time, check out the below links for info. on festivals and Oktoberfests being held that Saturday in the Frederick area:

http://www.InTheStreet.info (This is really fun - stages set up around the historic Frederick downtown with all kinds of entertainment...plus other stuff)

http://www.frederickoktoberfest.com (At the Fairgrounds)

http://www.newmarketmd.com (New Market Days - crafts, food, buggy rides, shopping in "The Antiques Capital of MD")

And for kemo and anyone else near kemotown, the Germantown Oktoberfest is also taking place on Oct. 2....with fireworks scheduled for 9 p.m.

Unfortunately, a schedule conflict has a risen with a family obligation, and I've been unable to schedule around it. From experience, I know the meet will be a lot of fun; I'll be looking forward to the pictures, wishing I could be there.:(

Sorry to hear you can't make it, tledjazz and jay. :( Weekends are busy for all of us, and sometimes you just can't be two places at once!!!!

I'm sure that more than one of us will be taking some pics of the meet---be sure to check 'em out!
