Is it ok to use regular tap water or would you guys use distilled water for mixing???

I wouldn't touch it

From what I understand, you're not to do anything with the engine coolant on the PILOt for a good long time (I don't remember the mileage number off the top of my head).

Are you planning do mess with the coolant on your PILOT or another vehicle?

Absolutely, distilled water mixed 50/50 with coolant. Also, if you're not using non-silicate antifreeze, it's a good idea to use it. Honda water pumps (never a strong point on Honda products, anyway) can benefit from the non-silicate formula.

Use premixed

I think the Honda coolant comes pre-mixed.
