But before you start routing the wire through the grommet, make sure you bend the tip of the wire around so it does not punch a hole in the rubber grommet.

Now, you're ready to install the rear camera control unit which sits right on top of the navigation control unit. Start by removing the nuts holding the nav unit in place.

Skip this step to reinstall the nav unit. It is easier to plug all the connectors and install the camera unit on top of the nav unit this way. This is what Glen H and I did.

Finished! Just have to reinstall all the interior trim pieces and the seats. Then test the camera. Since I did not disconnect the battery, I do not have to reset the nav, the radio, the clock, and the windows. Just program the rear view camera on the nav, put the Pilot in reverse, and Voila!
This is pretty impressive stuff -- the moment those panels came off, it dawned upon me that installing those rear splash guards is "a piece of cake." Any other "gotchas" you wish to reveal before some brave DIYselfers undertake such a task? :6::6::6:
