Here's my DIY installation on the rear view camera. Go to https://hondacuraworld.hostasaurus.com/Merchant2/instructions/pilot/rearviewcameraattachment.pdf to download the Honda instructions. It will make it easier to follow the pictures I posted step by step. Glen H did an awesome job posting pics on his installation. It definitely made my install easier.

Tools-I went out and purchased the metric drill bits required, but Glen H said they were not really necessary. The clip removal tool and angled Phillips is a must as emphasized by Glen H. But don't get the clip removal tool I have pictured. It doesn't work. Get the one Glen H used.

Step 1 - 2
I did not disconnect the battery. When I installed my fog lights. I also did not disconnect the battery. I think this is a safety precaution.

Step 3 - 4

All the interior trim pieces are pretty easy to remove. They are all held on by clips.

Step 6
Clip at the bottom of the tailgate rear trim. It looks like you're suppose to unscrew them. But you have to pop them up and unscrew at the same time. I just used my fingers to do this.

Step 7 - 8
As you pull the trim away from the tailgate, you have to unplug a vehicle connector. Circled is the vehicle connector on the tailgate side.

Step 10
Remove 7 nuts from the back. They're all the same size. You will need an extension to reach a couple of them. Circled are 2 of the 7 nuts.

Step 11
Circled is 1 of 4 clips that are holding the rear license panel to the tailgate. Only 2 of 4 of the clips are visible. The Honda instructions say you can release the clips by using a 6mm combo wrench. That does not work. Just use pliers and sqeeze the clip to release it. The two hidden clips, you will need to use the clip removal tool. Get the one that Glen H used. The clip removal tool I purchased did not work. So, I ended up yanking out the rear license panel. Fortunately, I did not break anything. This was really the only step throughout the whole installation that Glen H and I found frustrating.
