Pilot looks awesome and you definitely made her/him/it yours ;) Wheels look great but I’d be nervous from the pot holes on the road. Did you have get any warning lights from the missing air bag?

Nice slam, and to each his own.

Just don't be that guy at the red light everybody hates because his woofers shake their fillings loose.

What is Toxica ?
The Death Metal band coming out of his audio system turned up to eleven? :)

Thanks aggrex!😊 Yes it’s a huge difference going from stock suspension to coil overs and low profile tires. It’s a lot more stiff but the looks are awesome and worth the sacrifice lol

Any info on the audio build. What have you done for battery/alternator?

Do you have those amps turned up pretty high? Those amps can push north of 4000 watts (280+ amps).
Hi there Pilot2003_1. On the audio side I took the stock alternator out and put in a high output alternator. As for batteries, I have two yellow top Optimas. One strictly for my audio and the other for the rest of the electrical. I have 3 Skar Audio ZVX-15v2 D1 subs wired all to 1 ohm. For my bass amp I have a Taramps Bass 8K. For mids I have Taramps Hd3000 and for my highs I have a Taramps DS800x4. I also have a AudioControl DQDX Digital Signal Processor and an AudioControl Epicenter Digital Bass Processor. All my power wires and grounds are 1/0 gauge OFC wire except for my bass amp. On my bass amp I’m running 2/0 gauge OFC wire. All my speakers are Skar Audio. On my front and rear doors I have Skar Audio FSX65 6.5” speakers for mids and for highs I have 4 Skar Audio VX35-ST high compression bullet tweeters. I must say that I’m beyond satisfied with the audio performance of my Honda Pilot lol!!

plplplpl….wish I could give u a demo. It kinda feels like you’re listening to a live concert at full blast. It’s crispy clear. You can clearly hear all true instruments in any song: percussion, guitars, vocals, etc.

Thanks you so much guys and everyone for their thoughts and feedback. I feel really good about my little Honda Pilot Project. Once the sun goes down in a couple of hours I’ll post up a few flicks of what my Honda Pilot looks like at night with the under glow LED’s and Halo front lights. Thanks again!!!✌🏾😆

Definitely interested in your alternator/battery setup. How have you handled ELD?

I have a Mechman HO alternator on order right now. Planning to use a relay and 820ohm resistor to bypass ELD manually when needed. Have a JL JD1000/1 powering a single 12” DVC Dayton HO in a custom sealed box tuned at ~47Hz and HD600/4 powering two Soundbasics SB17 and SB29 drivers. All being handled through a Dayton DSP408.

Still doing some fine tuning with the dsp, been using a minidsp umik-1 mic and REW for tuning.

Definitely geared more towards sq over spl. :p

Same here (hopeful mix/live sound engineer someday).

Do you have any decoupling caps in parallel with the amps' power inputs? I'm not at all sure they are called for (since you have a separate battery for audio & there are likely good caps in the amps themselves).

Plan here is to use a diy Rhythmik servo sub, and hot glue the heck out of everything.

Yes, looking out for potholes is an issue for me lol. And yes my airbag light came on as well. I haven't figured out a way to turn the damn light off yet. Anyone out there have any ideas on that??

Nice build. What brand of exhaust did you use? I’m thinking of upgrading the exhaust system on my 2015 Pilot. Just trying to figure out brands people use and the sound.
On the exhaust I'm using Flow Master.

I missed this when it first came out, love seeing people take these things and put their custom touches on it. Nice job, hope you enjoy it, and the stance/wheels are spot on.
