hey i have a 2007 honda pilot EX-L my key fob stopped working an the key cylinder on the drivers door wont work how do i get the alarm to shut off?
i tried leaving the battery disconnected for about 30 mins and still nothing

yes that was the first thing i did but the fob was bad i ended up buying a new fob on ebay n programing it myself to shut off the alarm

it sounds like either one of the door lock actuators lock cylinder tab broke or the rear hatch or hood latch has a problem


The body control module " thinks " one of the door locks is open and due to the command it receives ( if you lock the doors with the remote, or the last command it recieved was a lock by the key fob ) it will blare the alarm .


We normally in a case like this we hook up our computer to the vehicle and see what door lock actuator is in the " open " position and go from there
