As the temperature crosses the 100 degree F. today, Makes me want coller leather seats instead of the heated ones.
Wonder if that will ever be possible?

I guess you could cover the seat with a gridwork of thermoelectric coolers and use a solar panel to cool the seats. Might make the seat less comfortable.

Or you could rig the AC ducting to blow up between the leather and the cushion. With the perforated leather, you'd be sitting on a cool air cushion (think air-hockey).

I thought I heard that one of the luxury divisions already offered that option - think it was Mercedes.

The Lincoln Navigator offers heated and air conditioned seats, for about $54 grand.

For that money I'll just turn down the temp control or drive with wet pants!

How about some bead seat cover. :D I heard they are very popular at New York among taxi drivers.

I actually had one once, that I used in a Toyota Tercel. I thought it was pretty comfortable.
