[BC-Pilot]

Chosing the Black Pilot, I was hoping to get some Brushed Aluminum or Chrome sidebars to brighten things up.

I was bummed to find that the Honda bars are dark grey-ish colour

Anyone out there know either:

a) If aftermarket sidebars exist yet for the Pilot??

OR

b) Will MDX designed bars fit in the same mounting slots??

There is a sizable contingent over on the acuramdx board that prefers Manik products:

Lots of related info if you do a search on "manik" on that board, including pics. Some of them have also bought the OEMs and had them powdercoated to match their wheels (silver). A related post from The Worm snagged from acuramdx.org:

Called Manik

I called Manik to see if they were making them yet for the Pilot.
They said, " the what?". It may be a while...
I'm opting for the Honda bars because I did the shiny chrome thing last time around. New look and all. Should look good with the Sage Brush. Be careful of chromed steel units as they will rust when chipped. Go stainless. The Honda's are actuallt cast aluminum. I like that idea. Go Rhino or Mid America may be making them soon, too.
