I LOVE the new TLX. It's the best Acura since the iconic TL Type S, all they need is to bring back a 6 speed manual and the waffle weave wheels. I am unabashedly a Honda fanboy and this car (and the Accord 6-6 Sedan of the same vintage) have been some of my favorite all-time cars. Back when family sedans could be had as excellent sport sedans: Accord 6-6, Altima SE-R, Mazdaspeed 6 (maybe a little more hardcore), etc.

TFL posted a video walkaround of the car and these are my notes:

Thank god they have Paul reviewing it. He's the kind of person I know I can trust with the technical details unlike almost all journalists.
The Apex blue with the waffle weave inspired wheels makes me lust.
The exhaust note is about the best V6 I have heard since the G37/370Z. No aftermarket exhaust needed.
A little subjective but I quite like the interior and the red seats. I could live with it.
The engine sure as heck appears to be DOHC in the video even though they don't talk about it. I am so interested to get more details on it. They did verify it is a single twin scroll turbo, which THANKFULLY is not hidden under a cover and is proudly displayed.
Everything Paul was saying about the SH-AWD system makes it sound like it should do a really good job of hiding the FWD roots.

Anyone else excited? @undivide and @Mcmanut02 I know you were pumped earlier in the thread.
