About to tow 400 miles for motorcycle a track day.

First time towing with my 2005. Excited to see how well the pilot handles a cargo trailer, street bike and gear (around 2,000 pounds loaded). I have the auxiliary tranny and power steering coolers, and a set of Air Lift air bags for the rear springs.
I’ve also been modifying my cargo trailer all last summer and finally have it kitted out for track days and camping. Utah Motorsports Campus here I come!

LOL, you'll be fine.
I towed about twice as much load across North America (Calgary to Montreal) without any issues, cruising around 55-60mph.

Just make sure your trailer is loaded correctly, with heavier items towards the front and you won't ever see any fishtailing...

I’ve tested it a few times, never had any issues!
Looks like a great little setup. As long as you aren't worried about how fast you get there you will be fine. With towing, more speed is pretty large factor in many accidents.

Yep, we decided that the 80 mph speed limit on the highways isn’t the pace we will go 😂 I’d rather get there in one piece lol

You'll be amazed at how quickly the fuel tank empties with a trailer like that.

I was getting about 11 mpg. It struggled a bit at times but for my first time towing it was pretty uneventful.

How did the air bag install go?

From what I can remember, relatively smooth! Did it about 8 months ago.

Top tier 89-93 octane might help in this case. 🤔

I always fill up with chevron 89. Never really noticed a difference with 91. Plus, there. We’re several mountain passes and hilly areas to go through. All in all I have no complaints with how it towed.

11 is what I got with a U haul twin axle with a high beavertail gate. It really has to work hard to do whats asked of it.
