Since couple a weeks ago my Pilot start making a mooing (like a cow) noise, when I was turning almost 90 degrees from stop to right or left.

I thought was a belt, I took it to the dealer and found that the differential was doing it, so they change the differential oil to stop the noise and works the noise is gone, but they told me if the sound returns they have to change the differential

how many miles does your pilot have? have you gotten the VTM-4 fluid change before this? maybe it was overdue for a VTM-4 fluid change and the gears were grinding in the differential or something.

I have 12000 miles, I never change the differential oil, I was waiting for the 1500 miles to do it.

Also I ask the dealer guy if was leaking or dirt, but none of those situations.

I was checking this post (my own) could be this problem related to the transmission issue or not?
