The hood is probably aluminum, (wow sports car technology...or F150 ;) ) a magnet won't stick to it. Maybe it is magnesium or carbon fiber or nanotubes? One can hope) . I discovered this when trying to stick a magnetic work light on the open hood.

The Touring model air conditioner's utilizes the GPS unit's information to more accurately maintain temperatures, Amazing!
Not sure but this may only apply to the "Auto" setting. ...I ran across this in either the owner's manual or factory service manual.

You can turn off the Active Noise Canceling by pressing a combo of buttons on the stereo. The ANC is there to counteract the engine noise created during cylinder shutdown(VCM).
