Got a reference? Usually the "mainstream" version takes regular and the "upscale" (Acura) will take Premium and have a little more HP and TQ because of it.

And while I would run premium if that's what was recommended, fuel and ignition systems are so sophisticated now I'd have no problem with someone running regular.

I trust the owner's manual over what a dealer says. In fact, there is very little I trust that a dealer says.

If you are interested in a Pilot, definitely peruse the manual, website and ask questions on this forum. Do NOT trust what dealers tell you.
