2023 EXL 7 seater for msrp $45,645. They had a $100 wheel lock fee which they are taking off. 👍🏽 and a $300 doc fee. Off the top of my head that’s all there was.

Build date is early January. I bought two cars from them back in 2017, they would not discount anything this time around. I’m a little irritated about it, but I sold my Honda CRV privately for more than I should’ve got.

Updating this post now that the car has arrived.

2023 Touring AWD, White/Black, paid $49,974 total to the dealer, no trade in, will pay taxes later.
Price included the premium paint and the “all-weather package” (all weather mats, cargo tray, and splash guards).
Ordered on 12/15, build started late Jan, picked up from dealer on 2/9.
Fayetteville, Arkansas

We love the car! It’s really excellent for our family (3 kids). And honestly I feel like we got a really good price.

Put a $500 deposit on a 2023 Elite in Sonic Gray Pearl at MSRP $53720…with no added accessories or packages. They originally wanted to add $3k in different packages and we said nope. The manager was able to come down to msrp after we told him that they were still making a killing off of us. Ours is set to be built around 1/17 so we are expecting it around mid to late February :) I’m happy that our search is over!

Put a deposit down today for an EX-L 7P - the original estimate on build date was next week, but it seems production has been bumped out about 3 weeks currently.

Supply is tight obviously but while working with the dealer, they sold the one Touring model they had just gotten in and about half of the other sales reps were working with others seeking a pilot it seemed.

(This was at a dealer that does ~450 new sales a month in the Chicagoland area)

2023 Elite BLK/BLK MSRP with no market adjustment or add ons. Put down a credit card deposit for a unit that is built but still in transit.

Start to finish in about 4.5 hours.....I guess in some ways knowing that MSRP flat is very likely my best deal makes it easier haha....because I'm not tempted to keep trying to walk dealers down from there. There is quite a bit of variation out there with some asking for $$$ market adjustment, some requiring protection packages, some demanding that you "just come on in" and unwilling to send firm quotes over internet, and others willing to drop the BS quickly when then understand that you will literally put down a credit card right now if they hit the price.

EDIT: adding numbers to the price:

Deal at MSRP = $54,365 (53,375 including destination, plus PPO Towing Package already on vehicle at production of $990)
NO market adjustment or forced accessories
+TTL (all state-mandated and controlled, so no extra "dealer doc fees" or anything)

Very similar experience. I went and test drove a Touring and put a $500 deposit on an Elite that was being built. Someone backed out of an Elite that arrived before mine but it was the same color I wanted so the dealership called and I went in the same day. Took an hour to test drive and put the deposit down and maybe 2 hours to test drive the Elite and get it purchased. That was with a trade as well.

Bought a Black/Black Elite w/ no accessories. Paid MRSP of $53,375 + $230 for doc fees in Indianapolis. After trade and down payment, I financed around 10k at 4.99% through Honda.

I'm going to try to get them to come down on the all season mats and go pick those up since I have to go through Midwest winters.

Edit: I was able to have them price match a $200 listing on eBay instead of $250 non-installed price on the mats.

Just put down a deposit for a White/Black Elite at $1200 over MSRP, build date end of Jan, expected to arrive late Feb/early March. Most of the dealerships near me are above MSRP but this was the lowest markup I could find. Overall happy with the deal and excited to be done car shopping!

Moderator, why was my post that said I paid msrp plus 1k markup on an elite being deleted? Do I need to write the specific amount out, which is widely available on the Honda website? If you want people to just write numbers and not sentences, then write that. I realize I attached photos, but that was basically an offer of proof that I am a real owner.

Pilot Elite Modern Steel Metallic. Nothing else. $53,375. Initially the dealer said 2023's were $1000 over invoice, I said "well, I'm not paying over MSRP". Salesperson talked to manager and we agreed on MSRP. Another local dealer wanted to add a "Butler Package" for $2500 on top of MSRP. You will find a dealer that doesn't play games.

$52,875 - Elite. MSM exterior/black interior. Picked up from Grappone Honda in NH. Easiest and best dealer experience of my life, highly recommend. $549 doc fee. When presented with the order total of accessories from College Hill Honda's site, Grappone was able to nearly match it, so was happy to give them the business and make it one stop shopping.
