Has anyone installed an off market running board on the 2023 Honda Pilot yet? I am just wondering if the 2022 Pilot running board will fit the 2023 Pilot. Any advice?

Very nice! Is that OEM or aftermarket running board? DIY install? Also, did you tint add additional tint to your windows? Looks much darker in the picture.

That's the OEM board. I installed it myself. Wasn't very hard at all. All my windows are tinted.

Good job man. Did you also accidently install them backwards (left on right/vice versa)? I wasted 20 minutes trying to get it mounted up when I realized I had it flip-flopped lol.

Where did you get them for $420? I paid $632 shipped for mine. You paid $212 less!!! :O

I bought them from Patty Peck Honda online. Without the proper equipment. It took me almost three hours to install them. The left side is harder to install, because I had to remove and cut two holes in the plastic cover first. The right side was must easier to do. I follow the instructions downloaded online too.

Looks good! So it wasn’t a straight up bolt on? Do you require any special tools?

No special tools needed, just a good pair of scissors to cut the plastic cover under the car in order to place two of the three brackets on the left side. You also need a good car jack to raise the car high enough for you to work on. If going to the repairshop, if should not take them more than a hour to install both sides.

$420 included shipping and handling.
All the lucky people who got these for $400 woke up the vendors because now they are all charging at least $600 by either marking up the price OR charging $200-300 for shipping :cautious:

Yes, I do see $600 only.
Yes, I do see $600 only.
Here is the play,
I called several local Honda dealers after seeing the online shipping costs. They all said $600, or even up to $680 plus tax

The last dealer I called, I told the parts guy that I was calling around and would buy from the best price. He said well tell you what, I'll knock 15% off because you are a "valued customer" and gave me a piece of $510 for the platform (flat) boards plus tax came out to $550.80 picked up that day!

Installed in about an hour and a half. Cutting the liner on the drivers side was somewhat annoying but the passenger side was cake.

Do you have a picture of what needs to be cut? For us, I don’t think we’ll get running boards, it will decrease ground clearance. Every so often there’s an off road firetower trail in TN that we like to take. I’m just curious more than anything.
I'm looking to add OEM running boards. There is the traditional looking like in the pictures above, and a "Tube type". Besides the obvious different in looks... are there any pros and cons to them?

I'm considering the "tube type" ones since I believe they are stronger material but they also seem to have less surface. Interested to know the answer to your question as well.
Did anyone seal the cover in the areas where the cuts are made on the driver side? I'm assuming the cover's purpose is to block road debris or road salt in snowy areas? Is there any risks or compromise to cutting into the cover and allowing contaminants/debris to enter?
